Sales and Business Development Manager

With a unique product portfolio of most advanced cleaning systems and chemicals, Rochem FYREWASH® has expertise and capabilities in the areas of Power Energy, Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries Rochem FYREWASH® is headquartered in Winchester, UK.
At its Winchester, UK location, Rochem FYREWASH® Ltd carries out development and manufacturing in the field of gas turbine and compressor cleaning systems and chemicals.
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to start as soon as possible to acquire new customers and support existing customers. This role can be based in the UK, but with regular travel to the locations worldwide.
Purpose of the Role
Responsible for Rochem FYREWASH® sales with existing and new customers.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead the sales process from prospecting to closure, meetings, and exceeding sales targets.
- Negotiate and close business opportunities.
- Leverage existing connections and continually build a network within the industry, by actively participating in networking events, industry conferences, and professional associations to expand our business network.
- Prospect for new customers and continue lead generation activities to identify new opportunities within the Power Energy, Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industry.
- Develop effective sales tools, presentations, and collateral to enhance the sales process.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with key clients, leveraging security expertise to understand and address their unique needs
- Devise and implement comprehensive business strategies to drive growth and enhance market presence.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify strategic business opportunities.
- Grow and drive sales of the bioconjugation services to achieve sales goals for the assigned territory.
- Gather and communicate relevant market information to Rochem FYREWASH® team.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Candidate Requirements
- BSc in Engineering.
- Knowledge of Power Energy, Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industries would be desirable
- Previous experience in business development within a Power Energy, Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry.
- Successful track record in selling of GMP products/services.
- Knowledge of chemistry would be preferred
- Proven existing network in the Power Energy, Oil & Gas and Petrochemical or adjacent industry.
- Willing to make frequent trips abroad (up to 40%) and in possession of a driver’s license.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Excellent verbal and writing command in English language.
- Software skills, Office.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Team player.
- Business attire, commercial mindset.
- Entrepreneurial self-starter (ability to work independently and manager one’s time).
